L & P PUBLISHING

    L & P Publishing is located in the Mojave desert in a small community called Newberry Springs. This California community is bordered by I-40 and I-15, two major routs carrying vacationers and gamblers through the desert to Las Vegas and Laughlin, with boaters traveling through to go to the Colorado River to play with their boats and swim.

    L & P Publishing published “the Little Yellow Phone Book”, the Local Phone Book named Newberry Springs Community Directory for the last 30 years. Twelve years ago (August 1997) L & P Publishing began providing Internet Services to the area in and around Newberry Springs. Offering Domain Name Registration, Web Hosting, Web Sites, Home Sites, Dial up and Satellite Services. Programming for computers and web content customized to the specific needs of those wanting more than simple display capabilities.

    The earliest connections, by L & P Publishing, for customers began as long ago as Jan 1993 well before the internet was called Internet. These connections were to the White House where people could download content placed by the Government on their computers for people to read. This was done with a direct phone connection to the White House through Fed World.

    Now in retirement the only departments continuing at L & P Publishing is the Medical Transcription department providing outsourcing services. The Internet Services Department continues to provide Business Web sites and requests for programming, as well as homestead sites to our Internet Connection accounts.
The Newberry Springs website remains as a online community.
